COMMISSIONING

If you are interested in commissioning a piece of work, an initial meeting is arranged where the type of stone/wood, lettering and design are discussed. I am keen to have a close working relationship, to ensure that your wishes and expectations are met and successfully reflected in the finished project. Through close collaboration and by gently guiding you through this personal process, we create a unique and lasting piece. Sometimes this can take time, which is ok, not everything needs to be rushed in life - it is far more important to get it right!

Following the initial meeting, I will provide a sketch and a full quote for your approval. In some cases, external approval needs to be granted and I am happy to help with submitting the correct forms. Once approval has been granted, the material is ordered. During this time I will work on the full-size drawing so that I am ready to transfer the design and start carving when I received the material. 

I do hold a stock of various stones, slates and wood. However, if an unworked stone/wood needs to be ordered, it should be noted that delivery to my studio can take some eight to twelve weeks. I generally use British materials. Please read my Terms and Conditions and my Privacy Policy.

BUYING FINISHED PROJECTS

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested in buying a finished lettering piece. Some of the pieces in the Gallery may also be for sale.
